The Polo Season
Empire Polo Club offers polo games that are open to the public and admission is free. The winter season runs from November through the end of March or early April. During the main season, which runs January through early April, featured games are offered on Friday nights and on Sundays. The official Opening Day is usually held on Sunday during the first or second week of January. The Friday night and Sunday polo games are announced by a seasoned commentator and food and beverage service available on site. Check our season schedule dates.
Sunday Polo
Sunday Polo polo games are scheduled at 12:00 and 2:00 PM. General admission is free to all of the polo games. For an additional fee you can purchase tickets to access the VIP areas and for private cabanas. Most of the Sunday Polo games will be held on Field #1 near Medjhool Lake. The entrance to the main Sunday Polo Field is located on Ave. 50th just west of the Monroe St. intersection.
VIP seats and tables are available on the west side of the polo field. VIP seating provides an elevated view of the field and easy access from our VIP parking area. VIP Cabanas are also available on a limited basis. Click here to view VIP seating rates.
Friday Night Polo Under The Lights
Friday Night Polo Under The Lights is offered every Friday night during the winter season which starts in early January and ends in late March. Friday Night polo features two teams that compete under the lights in a competitive polo match on the Rose Garden field at Empire Polo Club. This field is located next to the Tack Room Tavern Restaurant. General admission is free and everyone is welcome. Happy hour cash bar will be available on site during Polo Under The Lights games.
