Join us this Sunday at Empire Polo Club where soloist Patricia Welch will be singing the National Anthem to kick-off our 2:00 PM Polo Game. We are honored to have Patricia performing at our Sunday Polo event.
General Admission to Empire’s Polo games is FREE. We offer tailgating on the East side of the polo field and open seating in our bleachers on both sides of the field. Korbel California Champagne hosts a “champagne divot stomp” during halftime of the 2 PM game. Come out and watch the horses thunder down the field as players compete in 4-Goal Rose Cup and 8-10 Goal Emerald Cup.
Over the years, Patricia Welch has performed over 200 concerts, as well as numerous corporate events. Her vocal talents have been heard on major TV networks, including HBO, PBS, Movies of the Week, and at the Hollywood Bowl.
Patricia’s professional career began when she starred with Yul Brynner in the Broadway musical The King and I. Later, Patricia went on to perform concerts as a featured soloist with the Los Angeles Pops Orchestra, the Orange County Symphony, and the Jonathan Pops Orchestra. Additionally, she has performed musical theater roles such as Maria in The Sound of Music, Marsinah in Kismet, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, and Maria in West Side Story.
For the past several years, she was a featured soloist with Wayne Newton in Las Vegas and also had a starring role with the late Robert Goulet in his show The Man and His Music. She wrote and performed a song for the first 9/11 Memorial in Washington, D.C.
