Polo matches are not open to the public at this time due to the State of California and County of Riverside Covid – 19 guidelines.
• Everyone entering Empire must sign a Release, Health Questionnaire and Set of Rules. DO NOT even think about getting on a horse without first reading and signing these items.
• You will receive a copy of the Rules you signed and the USPA Return to Play Guidelines, which you must follow.
• You will receive wristband when above are signed. Only authorized persons with EPC wristbands will be permitted on property
• Let Vicky Owens 760-963-9930 know well in advance when you intend to bring your horses in. They may only arrive during daylight hours.
• You must provide and keep updated a written list of your riders, managers, grooms, coaches or other essential personnel that will be assisting you at barns and fieldside. It is the Members’ responsibility and your liability to have each groom or person accompanying them sign the Release, Health Questionnaire and Set of Rules.
• Face coverings or mask must be worn at all times when not on a horse.
• Keep a safe six-foot distance off the field, stay at a six-foot distance in the barn and trailer area;
• DO NOT loiter in barns. Barns are restricted to essential employees, including vets and shoers.
• No parties, BBQ’s or gatherings on Empire property.
• No guests or spectators at games.
• The use of the tracks and fields is for Members only.
• Wipe down with a disinfectant all tie rails, tack, saddles, bridles, mallets, trailers, chairs and truck areas that are potentially touched or used by third persons.
• Wash your hands with soap and water frequently. There will be hand sanitizers at central locations.
• Please report anyone violating these rules or exposing others.
• Do not enter into EPC if you have been exposed to Covid-19 or have any coronavirus symptoms, including cough, fever, shortness of breath, headaches and gastro intestinal pains. It is your responsibility to be sure no one in your group is experiencing signs/symptoms of Covid-19. If they have, you must let us know immediately and they must self-quarantine for 14 days, and test negative before returning;
• You have a continuing obligation and responsibility to adhere to these Rules and notify us of any changes or health issues.
• You have a continuing responsibility to keep up and adhere to all State of California, County of Riverside and Center for Disease Control updates, advisories and regulations concerning Covid-19 and this pandemic.
• Everyone has to do their part to keep each other safe and allow us all to keep playing the sport we love.
