Yoga Classes at Empire Polo Club

August 16, 2011 by EPC Staff 5 Comments

Bronwyn Ison has practiced, studied and been teaching for more than a decade.  She is also an RYT 200, (Registered Yoga Instructor) receiving/earning a diploma for an additional 200 hours of practice and study. Bronwyn has had the pleasure to work and study with some of the best Yoga instructors in the country.  “Whether you are 5 or 75, battling an injury, intimidated, and especially not flexible this is all the more reason to begin your Yoga journey,” says Bronwyn.  She also instructs at “The Vintage Club,” in Indian Wells, CA, teaching all levels of fitness, beginner’s, athletes/professional, intermediate, and advanced.

The class is Vinyasa Flow with a hint of athleticism.  Vinyasa means breath with movement.  You will flow through a series of poses that will build strength, stamina, increase flexibility, strengthen your abdominals, establish balance and improve your posture, calm the central nervous system, as well as your mind, and help build more confidence on and off your mat.

Come join us for Yoga on Monday and Wednesday, 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Empire Polo Club in the white Pavilion off the Rose Garden adjacent to “The Tack Room Tavern.”

Please bring a mat, towel, and water.  Extra water is provided. Props provided when needed; blocks, straps and blankets.

First Class: $10.00
Drop-in: $18.00
Package of 10: $150.00
10% discount to Empire Polo Club Members

Please keep me posted about this! I have been taking yoga lessons on and off for many years. When is the first class? Is it next Monday? And where exactly is it there? Maybe I’ll have to re-read the announcement and find the answers to my questions!

The yoga classes have already started. They are held at the Pavilion building in the Rose Garden area. The students park behind the office which is just to the right of the Tack Room Tavern entrance. Call Instructor, Bronwyn Ison, Phone # 480 332-1951 or http://www.bronwynison.com and she can give you more details.

I started yoga with Bronwyn almost 2 years ago. My physical and mental condition, stamina, and misc pain relief have greatly improved.

It’s fabulous. Bronwyn has studied with some of the best teachers around and the space is amazing and the yogis are darlings. Get in on the game!

I finally got my act together this summer and have truly seen major improvement on the outside of my body and I feel even better on the inside! I was having headaches at least 4 times a week, now 0. If you do one thing for yourself, do this, it is like an internal massage and the results are amazing.
Bronwyn teaches to all skill levels and is very focused on safety.
I have even heard there may be a Wine and Chocolate Yoga, what could be better than that???
If you play Polo you should definitely start coming, it will improve your game! (I read that in a Polo magazine) :)
