Empire Polo Team defeated Edelweiss 9-5 in the 4-Goal Crown Classic Finals on March 10th at Empire Polo Club.

Empire jump-started their lead with two goals in the first chukker. Caroline Anier converted a penalty shot and Charlie Petersen scored a goal from the field. Edelweiss came to life in the second chukker with a goal by Miguel Gutierrez. Empire kept their lead with another point on the board off of the mallet of Petersen. Both teams continued to play hard and hold their positions, each scoring a goal in the third chukker. Petersen and Anier came onto the field ready to win after halftime and added three more goals to their tally securing a 3-point lead going into the fifth and final chukker. Gutierrez answered with two more goals for Edelweiss and one more in the fifth but Edelweiss could not catch Empire. Empire took home the silver and the 4-Goal Crown Classic Title.
