While the quarantine has been hard on the local polo clubs and players it has given the polo fields an unexpected break. This has provided a unique opportunity for Empire Polo Club to implement some maintenance to the polo fields. Our field crew has been busy this past week adding plaster sand and aerating the fields.
Player’s are eager to get back to work and are looking forward to the fields opening next week providing the EHV-1 quarantine is lifted as scheduled.
Empire Polo Club has posted a tentative schedule with stick & ball starting as early as Tuesday, Feb. 7th, 2012 and practice games scheduled on Feb. 14th, 2012.
